SPORTS 101213

We start with Football – and Chelsea rescued a point at White Hart Lane when they drew 1-all with Tottenham Hot Spurs.
Didier Drgoba equalised for the Blues after Roman Pavlyuchenko opened the scoring for the home-side.

Drogba however had a chance to grab all 3-points for Chelsea but he missed a stoppage-time penalty and that stretched Carlo Ancelotti’s side’s winless streak to five matches.

In earlier ties – 10-man Bolton scored a 2-1 win over Blackburn Rovers; and Wolves managed a 1-0 win over Birmingham City.

Staying in the Premiership – in the on-saga on Carlos Tevez wanting to leave Manchester City – the Argentine striker says his relationship with "certain executives and individuals" at the club "has broken down beyond repair".

Tevez stressed he has "no personal issue" with manager Roberto Mancini and thanked owner Sheikh Mansour for his "understanding and support".

Yet the Argentine striker made it clear he only sees his future as being anywhere but at Manchester City.

Back on the pitch and in the rest of the action in Europe in Spain – Lionel Messi struck twice as Barcelona demolished Real Sociedad 5-0 at the Nou Camp; and Real Madrid managed a 3-1 away win at Real Zaragoza.

In the Italian Serie A – AC Milan maintained their lead at the top with a 3-0 win away at Bologna; and Juventus crept up to second place with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Lazio.

Finally in Basketball in the ABL – league leaders the Thailand Chang Slammers were slammed by the KL WestSport Dragons yesterday.

Playing in Kualar Lumpur the Dragons won the game 77-57 to stay just 2-points behind the Thais.

The Singapore Slingers are currently fourth in the league and will play catch-up when they host the Satria Muda BritAma of Indonesia tomorrow.

The game will tip-off at 8pm at the Singapore Indoor Stadium and you can get your tickets from SISTIC.
