We kick-off with Football – and in the Premiership Manchester United kept their unbeaten record intact this season with a remarkable turnaround at Blackpool.
The Devils scored a 3-2 win after going down 2-0 at the half.

Elsewhere Aston Villa kept their mini-revival going on with a 2-1 away win at Wigan.

Into the English Carling Cup now and Arsenal have stromed into the final with a 3-0 win over Ipswich Town at the Emirates.

The Gunners advance 3-1 on aggregate and will play either West Ham or Birmingham City who play their second-leg semi-final tie later tonight.

In the AFC Asian Cup semi-finals in Qatar – Australia have thrashed Uzbekistan 6-0 to make into the final this Saturday.

The Socceroos will meet Japan who defeated South Korea 3-0 on penaties after the game ended 1-1 after the 90, and 2-2 after extra-time.

South Korea will now play Uzbekistan for the third-place playoff this Friday.

Finally in Basketball – in the ABL semi-final play-offs – The Singapore Slingers will play Game 2 at the Indoor Stadium on Tuesday.

The Slingers are looking to tie the series after going down in overtime 81-76 to the Thailand Chang Slammers last weekend.
