In other results : Manchester City were held to a 1-all draw at Notts County; and 10-man Arsenal needed a late Cesc Febrgas penalty to beat Huddersfield Town 2-1 at the Emirates.

In Spain’s La-Liga – Osasuna have a dealt a blow to Real Madrid’s title chances beating them 1-0 at home.

The lost means Madrid are now 7-points off the pace set by leaders Barcelona.

In the Italian Serie A – Inter Milan moved into 4th-spot with a 3-2 comeback win against Palermo; Napoli stayed in second-spot with a 4-0 trouncing of Sampdoria; and Udinese kept their winning streak going with a 2-1 away win at Juventus.

In Golf – Bubba Watson has won the Farmers Insurance Open in California, as he made a 12-foot birdie putt on the final hole to beat Phil Mickelson by one shot at 16-under.

Tiger Woods finished a disappointing 44th in his first tournament of the year and shot a final round of 75 – ending at 1-under.

Finally in Asean Baskteball League semi-final Playoffs – The Singapore Slingers are in action tomorrow night against the Chang Thailand Slammers battling for a place in the finals against the Philippines.

However the Slingers need to first win to tie the series at 1-all after Game 1 ended in an 81-76 defeat at the hands of the Slammers in Bangkok.
