Football and England will have a representative in the FIFA World Cup Final in the form of referee Mark Webber.
FIFA have confirmed Webb’s involvement as he is held in high regard and his efforts both in the Premier League and Europe have earned him a place among the elite panel for the World Cup.
The 38-year old will take charge of The Netherlands and Spain tie this Sunday in Johnnesburg.
And here’s quick check in the Dutch camp –coach Bert van Marwijk has taken inspiration from the 'Total Football' legends of the past but insists his side cannot be compared with the former Dutch greats.
Van Marwijk has taken advice from Dutch icon Johan Cruyff and drawn on the experience of Rudi Krol in training sessions and believes his team can do what the famed Dutch teams of 1974 and 1978 could not - win the World Cup.

Finally in Motor-racing – Red Bull Principal – Christian Horner is determined to turn his Red Bull Racing team into one of the most successful teams in Formula One history.
Horner's plan may appear far fetched when you consider Ferrari and McLaren have won 27 drivers' titles, 24 constructors' championships and 379 grands prix between them.
And although Red Bull have not made the most of their opportunities this year, they are firmly in the hunt as the season reaches its halfway point with this weekend's British Grand Prix.
