Finally back to football and in the S-League last night – it ended all square between the Young Lions and Beijing Guoan – until the match was abandoned.

The tie could have finished 1-all but for some unusual scenes that proceeded to unfold, as tempers frayed in dramatic fashion.

Lions players Quak and Fraritz had to go to hospital for medical checks; and the FAS have moved swiftly to declare that investigations will be carried out.

More S-League action tonight at the Jalan Besar Stadium in a top-of-table clash between Tampines Rovers and Etoile FC.

The tie will kick-off at 7:30pm.
