Staying in London – in a EURO 2012 Qualifier – England were frustrated by a determined Montenegro side, and had to settle for a goalless draw at Wembley.
Although England were denied a penalty, the visitors defended resolutely and deserved a point and they could have had more as Milan Jovanovic hit the bar late on.
The draw means England sit in second place in Group G with Montenegro 3 points ahead, but England have a game in hand.
Elsewhere in Group A Germany maintained their 100% record with a 3-0 away win at Kazakhstan; also keeping their 100% record intact – Spain managed a 3-2 away win in Scotland with Fernando Lorente scoring the winning goal 11 minutes from time.
And in Group E – Holland hammered Sweden 4-1 to make it 4-out-of-4 wins for the Dutch; and Portugal managed a 3-1 away win at Iceland.

After going down to a second-half strike by Safuwan Baharudin – the Japanese outfit clawed their way back and were given a penalty which Bruno Castanheira equalized.
More S-League action later this evening as Balestier Khalsa will take on Beijing Guoan at the Jalan Besar Staidum – that tie will kick-off at 7:30pm.
