We couldn't have done it without YOU!

Class 95 DJs shake hands for charity

9500 Handshakes for Charity 2Singapore’s Class 95FM’s 9500 Handshakes campaign to help their adopted charity – ARC Children’s Centre, has wrapped up.
The four-part event saw DJs – Bobby Tonelli, Jean Danker, Mike Kasem, Joe Augustin, Glenn Ong, Jeremy Ratnam and Yasminne Cheng, take to the streets to meet and shake the hands of listeners.
“It was very heartwarming to see how so many listeners came out to contribute to our charity,” said Ms Margaret Mary Lim, Assistant Programme Director of Class 95FM.
“We had one child who came down specifically to donate his birthday gift of $1,000 because he felt the ARC Children’s Centre would benefit more from it.  We’ll definitely be doing this again!” she added.
Recounting the generosity of some listeners, Jeremy Ratnam, the newest DJ at Class 95FM said: “A mother and her two children rushed down to where we were just a couple of minutes before we packed-up, and each child dropped a $50 note into the donation box, and the mother exclaimed, ‘We rushed out from our house in Woodlands just to come by and donate to the kids of ARC Children’s Centre’.”
