Football first and in the English Premiership – Chelsea's title hopes were dealt another blow last night as Ciaran Clark's injury-time header handed Aston Villa a 3-3 draw in a dramatic match at Stamford Bridge.

But despite the draw – Carlo Ancelotti insisted Chelsea are not out of the Premier League title race.

However the Blues boss admitted the result, which left his side outside the top four, meant they must beat Manchester United in March to stand any hope of retaining the championship.

Eleswhere – Newcastle United climbed up to 10th on the table with a 1-0 win at Wigan Athletic.

Shaola Ameobi’s close range effort in the 19th was enough to give the Magpies all three-points and snap their 2-game losing streak.

Moving over to the Spanish La-Liga – Pedro struck both goals to give Barcelona a narrow 2-1 win over Levante at the Nou Camp on last night.

In other ties Seville mananed a 1-0 win over Osasuna; and Valencia defeated Espanyol 2-1.

Finally in Formula One – Rubens Barrichello is upbeat about Williams' 2011 challenger, saying it will be "in aggressive mode".

Williams continued with their mid-table form in 2010 and finished sixth in the constructors' championship, but their engine supplier Cosworth has already indicated they are targeting a return to the top four next year.

Barrichello is equally positive about their chances, saying he wants the team to go forward in the upcoming season.
