Football first and in the Premiership Chelsea chalked up a massive 4-0 win over Bolton at the Reebok overnight.

The Blues demolition job began by a Didier Drogba piledriver, followed by goals from Florent Malouda, Nicholas Anelka and Ramires.

Chelsea remain in fourth-spot – 7-points behind leaders Manchester United.

Elsewhere in the Spain’s La-Liga – Athletic Bilbao scored a 3-0 home win over Hercules.

The victory pushes Bilbao up to 6th on the table for shot in Europe.

To Basketball now and in the ABL the and Singapore Slingers lost Game 1 in their semi-final playoff tie against the Thailand Chang Slammers in Bangkok last night.

The local players came up big for Thailand as they beat the Slingers 81 – 76 in an exciting overtime game.

Now the Slingers will have their chance to tie the series in Game 2 on Tuesday, and you can already get your tickets from SISTIC to cheer on our Slingers – tip off will be at 8pm at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Finally in Tennis and in the Australian Open – Roger Federer has breezed into the semis with a straights sets win over his fellow countryman 19th seed Stanislas Warwinka 6-1, 6-3, 6-3.

And in women’s quarter-final action – Na Li of China continued her fine form beating Andrea Petkovic of Germany 6-2, 6-4.
