We start with Football and in the English Premiership – Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger refused to blame goalkeeper Lucasz Fabianski for his side's 2-1 overnight defeat at Blackburn.

Wenger has instead chose to accuse Rovers of "unfair" tactics.

Elsewhere - Steven Gohouri's dramatic stoppage-time equaliser stole a point for Wigan and confirmed Hull's relegation from the Premier League.

The Latics drew 2-all with Hull who now complete the relegated trio together with Porstmouth and Barnsley.

Back home in the S-League – SAFFC stayed in contention with the leaders with a 3-1 win against Woodlands Wellington at the Choa Chu Kang Stadium.

The Rams were down to 10-men just before the half-hour mark and that paved the way for a Warriors victory.

In another tie Geylang United had to come from a goal down to defeat Albirex Niigata 2-1 and are now third on the table.

Looking ahead tonight – French-outfit Etoile FC can climb to the top of the league with a win against Beijing Guoan.

That tie will kick off at 7:45pm at the Queenstown Stadium.

Finally in Basketball and in the NBA Pyayoffs – The Boston Celtics have won away at the The Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 2.

The Celtics smashed Cleveland in their own court 104 to 86 to tie their semi-final series at 1-all.

Over in the Western Conference semi-finals – and playing at home at the US Airways Centre – the Phoneix Suns have a taken a 1-nil lead in their best-of-seven against San Antonio Spurs.


The Suns blew away the Spurs – 111 to 102 with Steve Nash grabbing 33-points; Game 2 will take place in Arizona Friday morning.
