We flag-off with Formula One first – Mark Webber completed a start-to-finish victory in the Monaco Grand Prix.
It was Webber’s second win in succession, to go joint top in the drivers' championship with team-mate Sebastian Vettel who finished second.
Robert Kubica rounded off a brilliant weekend in the Renault to finish third, after keeping Vettel in his sights throughout the 78 lap race.
The F1 heads to Turkey in two-weeks time.

In Tennis – Clay court king Rafael Nadal defeated world number one Roger Federer to win the Madrid Open.
Nadal won an enthralling encounter 6-4 7-6 in two hours and 11 minutes to capture a record-breaking 18th ATP Masters crown.
The Spaniard now extends his astonishing run of success on clay to 168 victories in 174 matches since 2005.

Staying in Spain and in Football - Barcelona claimed a second successive Primera Liga title as they held their nerve and demolished Valladolid 4-nil at the Nou Camp.
The Catalans have also set a new record of points total of 99; nearest rivals Real Madrid, fell at the final hurdle, only drawing 1-all with Malaga.
Elsewhere in Europe – Inter Milan were crowned Italian champions last night; Inter defeated Siena a 1-nil away to claim their fifth consecutive title.

In NBA Basketball – The Boston Celtics have won Game 1 in their Eastern Conference Finals against the Orlando Magic away.
The Celtics beat Orlando 92 to 88 with Ray Allen shooting 25-points for the away-side.
Boston will again play away in Florida in Game #2.

Finally in Cricket, the ICC World Twenty20 tournament concluded with England defeating Australia to win their first ever ICC trophy.
Australia batted first and scored 147 runs for the loss of six wickets; England bettered Australia's total with 18 balls to spare.
