Football first and in transfer news – sources have learnt that Manchester City have demanded British record signing Robinho return to England on August 5 to sort out his future at the club.
Robinho who cost City £32.4 million-pounds from Real Madrid in August 2008, is on loan at Brazilian club Santos and is still being paid £150,000 pounds-a-week.
Elsewhere – Javier Mascherano has been told he can leave Liverpool, after having held talks with the Anfield-club hierarchy yesterday.

Back on the pitch and closer to home in the S-League – Balestier Khalsa rescued a point as they drew 1-all with Albirex Niigata last night.
Playing at the Toa Payoh Stadium – Balestier’s Vitor Borges secured the point after the Tigers allowed the Japanese-outfit to score first through Bruno Castanheira.
Looking ahead tonight French-outfit Etoile FC will hope to leap-frog current league leaders Tampines Rovers when they take on Sengkang Punggol.
That tie will kick-off at 7:45pm.

Finally in Formula One - Lotus Racing's chief technical officer Mike Gascoyne claims F1 fans will feel cheated by Ferrari in the German Grand Prix.
Gascoyne was left astonished at how badly Ferrari botched making a team call that resulted in them being fined 100,000 US dollars and facing the prospect of further sanctions.
