Football all the way and in transfer news – Chelsea have agreed to sell defender Ricardo Carvalho to Real Madrid for a reported fee of €8 million Euros.
The Blues have confirmed the two clubs have come to an agreement and Carvalho is now expected to sign a two-year contract at the Bernabeu.
And in a lead-up to this evening’s friendlies right across the globe – Steven Gerrard believes England deserve to be jeered by supporters during tonight’s tie against Hungary.
The Three Lions captain admitted he would join in if he was in the stands at Wembley.
In other friendly ties – Sweden will play against Scotland; World Cup finalists Holland will take on the Ukraine; Ireland play Argentina and World and Euro Champions Spain will play against Mexico.
Now in earlier friendly results – Brazil scored a 2-nil win over The United States of America in the Red Bull Arena in New Jersey.

And Italy were handed a 1-nil defeat by the Ivory Coast in England’s Upton Park;
Kolo Toure scored the winner in the 55th minute.
