We start with Football and James Milner's move from Aston Villa to Manchester City has been finalised, with midfielder Stephen Ireland moving in the opposite direction.
City boss Roberto Mancini said: "James is already a very good player, who has proved he can play at the very top level."
In a further development in the City Grounds – Mancini has made Carlos Tevez the new captain of his side for this season.

Finally in a Youth Olympic Games update – and in the aftermath of Singapore winning it’s first Silver of the Games – Swimmer Rainer Ng has said, he is really happy with his performance although he was a bit slower than the semi-final.
Rainer clocked a time of 26.45 seconds to finish second in the men’s 50m Backstroke final at the Singapore Sports School yesterday.

Here’s a quick look at the Medal Tally after 4-days of competition – China remains at the top with 10 Gold, 5 Silver and 1 Bronze;
Russia are now in second spot with 9 Gold 5 Silver and 3 Bronze;
South Korea have crept into third with 5 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze.
And for Singapore have moved up to into 32nd place with 1 Silver and 2 Bronze.
