Football all the way and after Sunday night’s EPL fixtures – Sir Alex Ferguson has criticised his players for dropping "silly points" after Manchester United drew 2-all with Fulham.

United, missing Wayne Rooney because of a virus, suffered an early slip in the Premier League title race when Nani missed an 87th-minute penalty that would have secured a 3-1 lead.

In an earlier tie – Newcastle United thrashed Aston Villa 6-nil in what is the fourth 6-nil scoreline only after 2-weeks into the new season.

New siging Andy Caroll scored a hat-trick for the Magpies making his the third in the season so far.

Back home in a Youth Olympic update – a sending-off, a late penalty and poor finishing conspired to sink Singapore in the football semi-finals as they were beaten 2-nil by Haiti.

Playing to a capacity 6,000-crowd at the Jalan Besar Satdium last night – assistant coach Abdullah Noor said, all credit should go to Haiti, as they played well, and they deserved to win as they worked very hard, and were more hungry.

The Cubs will now play for the Bronze medal against Montenegro on Wednesday.

While Haiti moves on to the finals to meet Bolivia.

whilst South Korea are in third place with 9 Gold, 2 Silver and 2 Bronze;

Singapore are in 54th position with 1 Silver and 2 Bronze.
