Kicking-off with Football – Tottenham Hot Spurs were held to a 1-all draw by Sunderland last night at the White Hart Lane.
Asamoah Gyan equalised for The Black Cats right after Rafael Van der Vaart gave Spurs the lead which only lasted 3 minutes.
In the night’s other tie – Dean Whitehead gave Stoke a 3-2 win over Birmingham after they had been pegged back from two goals up with two strikes inside three minutes from Cameron Jerome and Keith Fahey.

More mid-week Premiership clashes later tonight as Aston Villa will take on Blackpool; Chelsea play at home against Fulham; Wigan will host Liverpool; Wolves will battle a stuttering Arsenal; and the biggest tie of the night must surely be the Manchester derby between United and City.
And in a related development Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez has come out to say he would have relished having Wayne Rooney as his strike partner against Manchester United.
The England international was strongly linked with a move to the Eastlands after declaring his desire to leave Old Trafford due to the apparent lack of ambition at United.
The Manchester derby will kick-off at 4am Singapore time.

Finally in Golf – Tiger Woods is hoping for a change in fortune.
And about a year ago Woods touched down in Australia to unprecedented scenes of media hype and adulation.
In fact the then world number one was appearing Down Under for the first time in 11 years to play in the JBWere Masters, which he ultimately won comfortably at Kingston Heath.
But little did he realise his victory in Australia would be his last anywhere in the world.
Woods tees off with Robert Allenby and Brett Rumford tomorrow hoping, just like 12 months ago, an appearance in Australia will prove a turning point - only this time the spiral will be up instead of down.
