Kicking-off with Football and Arsenal will play away at Manchester United in the quarter-finals of the English FA Cup.

The Gunners hammered Leyton Orient 5-0 in their fifth-round FA Cup replay at the Emirates.

Elsewhere – Manchester City beat Aston Villa 3-0 to make it into the final 8 as well and have set up a home clash against Championship-side Reading.

In the Spanish League – a Lionel Messi goal sealed a precious 1-0 win for Barcelona as they beat third place Valencia at the Mestalla.

The win for Barca increases their lead at the top to 10 points over Real Madrid.

In the S-League last night – Home United raced to the top of the table with a 5-0 thrashing of Hougang.

Playing away – Home United’s win was made all the more easier after Ratna Suffian was sent off for the Hougang in the 39th minute.

More S-League action this evening as Courts Young Lions will host Geylang United at the Jalan Besar Stadium.

The Young Lions are still looking for their first win of the season and could score all 3-points when they face the Eagles at 7:30pm.

Finally – in the ICC Cricket World Cup – it took the fastest ever century in World Cup history from Ireland's Kevin O'Brien to put England's campaign in disarray.

O'Brien historic hundred sent England to an astounding three-wicket defeat at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

O'Brien came to the crease when damage limitation seemed the best his team could hope for, after they lost three wickets for eight runs to falter to 111 for five in apparently vain pursuit of 327 for eight.
