We’ve got Football all the way and Liverpool suffered their 10th defeat of the season losing 2-1 away at Blackpool.

Blackpool despite going down to an early Fernando Torres strike – struck back with goals from Gary Taylor-Fletcher and DJ Campbell and completed an impressive double over the Reds.

Elsewhere in first-leg Carling Cup semi-final action – a 78th-minute winner from Ipswich Town striker Tamas Priskin handed the struggling Tractor Boys a shock 1-0 victory over Arsenal.

The Gunners will host Ipswich at the Emirates on the 25th of January for the return-leg.

In an earlier Group A tie – Uzbekistan defeated Kuwait 2-1 to almost virtually seal their place in the next round and leaving the Kuwaitis with a very slim chance of qualifying.
