Back home in the S-League – SAFFC rose to second in the table with a convincing
3-nil win over Beijing Guoan at the Choa Chu Kang Stadium last night.
In another tie – Sengkang-Punggol got off the foot of the table with a 1-nil away win at Jalan Besar against the Young Lions.
Canadian import Murphy Wiredu scored the winner in the 65th minute.
Looking ahead tonight – Etoile FC will want to climb back into second-place when they take on Albirex Niigata at the Jurong East Stadium.
That tie between both foreign teams will kick off at 7:45pm.

Finally in Formula One – Nico Rosberg refuted claims he is Mercedes' number one driver after he once again outperformed Michael Schumacher at the Chinese Grand Prix.
The 24-year-old is second in the drivers' championship to Jenson Button after securing third for the second successive race in Shanghai.
Rosberg is adamant that both him and the seven-time world champion are equals within the team.
