Kicking off with Champions League Football frist-leg semi-final acton – Bayern Munich officials and players have spoken of their suprise at referee Roberto Rosetti's decision to send off Franck Ribery during the Bavarians 1-0 win over Lyon.
The red card means Ribery will be missing from the return leg and almost certainly the final should Bayern get there.

In the English Premiership – just one tie played overnight – and Champions League chasing Aston Villa moved above Liverpool into sixth place with a 2-nil win at Hull City.
Villa now stand just three points behind fourth-placed Tottenham after their victory against the Tigers.

Back home in the S-League – Gombak United’s Fazrul Nawaz gave the Bull’s a much needed 1-nil win over Home United last night.
The second-half header from Nawaz ensured Gombak reclaim second-spot on the table.
Later this evening – The Young Lions are in action again – as they take on the Beijing Guoan at the Jalan Besar Stadium.
And over at the Toa Payoh Stadium – Balestier Khalsa will host Sengkang Punggol.
Both ties will kick-off at 7:45pm.

Finally in Formula One – Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo has announced he is to step down as chairman of the Fiat group after six years in office.
Di Montezemolo will be replaced by 34-year-old John Elkann, grandson of late Fiat head Gianni Agnelli, with the appointment to be made official at today’s board of directors meeting.
