Football first – and Jose Mourinho looks set to leave Inter Milan for Real Madrid after admitting that the Champions League final "will almost certainly" be his last game with the club.


Mourinho will meet Real president Florentino Perez in the coming days to thrash out a deal.

Elsewhere in Spain – Barcelona striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic looks unlikely to move to the Premier League, claiming the rain would deter him from playing in England's top flight.

Ibrahimovic struggled to impress for the La Liga champions in his first season since moving to the Catalan club from Inter Milan.

In International friendlies – Ivan Rakitic and Drago Gabric scored a goal each on either side-of the half to give Croatia a 2-nil win over Wales.

More friendlies are in store including a couple of derby matches : where later this evening Australia will take on New Zealand in Melbourne;

Japan play against South Korea at the Saitama Stadium;

World Cup hosts South Africa take on Bulgaria;

and Engand will play host to Mexico at Wembley.

Finally in NBA Basketball – The Phoenix Suns have won Game 3 at home against the LA Lakers in their best-of-seven-series.

Crucial comebacks in the second and fourth quarters made the difference as the Suns blazed the Lakers 118 to 109.

Kobe Bryant shone for the Lakers with 36-points, but Amer’e Stoudmeire’s 42 shots were enough to see Phoenix at 2-1 in favour of the Lakers.

Game 4 takes place again in US Airways Centre in Arizona on the 25th of May.
