Mourinho's agent is on the verge of thrashing out the final details of a four year contract worth £36million-pounds with Real director Jorge Valdano.

On the pitch and results of International Friendlies – The United States of Amercia were beaten 4-2 by the Czech Republic in Connecticut.

The Americans will kick-off their World Cup campaign against England in a Group B tie on the 12th of June.

Elsewhere - North Korea cameback twice to draw with Greece 2-all; Nigeria drew goalless with Saudi Arabia; and Ireland got the better of faniced Paraguay 2-1.

At home in the RHB Singapore Cup – Balesteir Khalsa’s K. Vikraman scored twice, to defeat and dethrone current holders Geylang United.

Balestier will next face either Tampines Rovers or Woodland’s Wellington in the Quarter-finals.

More Prelimanary-Round action later this evening as Australia’s South Melbourne will take on Gombak United.

That tie will kick-off at 7:30pm at the Jalan Besar Stadium.

In NBA Basketball – The Phoenix Suns have levelled their best-of-seven-series to 2-all in their Western Conference Finals against The LA Lakers.

Playing at the Amway Centre in Arizona – Amar’e Stoudmiere lead Phoenix with 21 points on the board as the Suns scorched the Lakers 115 to 106 to win Game 4.

Game 5 heads back to California in two-days.

Finally in Formula One – and with just days left to the Turkish Grand Prix - Sir Jackie Stewart believes Mark Webber has a brilliant chance of winning this year's world championship.

The Scot, who won three driver's titles, feels that Webber is coming of age this season, and this combined with the power of the Red Bull could see the Australian take the title.

The Turkish Grand Prix starts it practice in the capital Istanbul in under 2-days.
