We start with Tennis and in the French Open Men’s quarter-final action – Sweden’s Robin Soderling produced a shock win as he dumped reigning champion Roger Federer out of the competition.
Soderling famously ended the reign of Rafael Nadal last year and fought back from a set down to eliminate Federer 3-6 6-3 7-5 6-4.
Also through to the semis is the Czech Republic’s Tomas Berdych as he disposed of Russian Youzhny 6-3, 6-1, 6-2.
Over in Ladies quarter-final action – Elena Dementieva ended Nadia Petrova’s run by beating her Russian counterpart 2-6, 6-2, 6-love.
And also through to the final-four is Italy’s Francesca Shiavone who easily cruised past Denmark’s Caroline Wozniacki 6-2, 6-3.

Football next and with 9-dyas left to the World Cup in South Africa - Fabio Capello has named his final 23-man England World Cup squad with Theo Walcott's omission being the biggest shock.
Shoulder, back, knee and hamstring problems restricted Walcott to just 15 starting appearances for Arsenal this term.
Walcott has endured an injury-troubled time since scoring his memorable hat-trick against Croatia to launch England's qualifying campaign in September 2008.
On the pitch more Warm-up matches were played overnight – A goal from Nachester United’s Nani and a brace from Raul Meireles helped Portugal to a 3-1 win over 10-men Cameroon.
Elsewhere – Holland defeated Ghana 4-1; Switzerland were stunned by Costa Rica
1-nil; and Australia upset Denmark with a 1-nil win in Johannesburg.

Finally back home in the S-League – SAFFC went back to winning ways with a 3-nil victory over Geylang United at the Bedok Stadium last night.
After Itimi Dickson’s sending off in the 55th minute, that paved the way for a Warriors onslaught with Indra Shahdan grabbing a brace.
More S-League action tonight when title-chasers Etoile FC take on Home Unted at the Jalan Besar Stadium.
That tie will kick-off at 7:30pm.
