Football and Arsene Wenger has revealed he has urged his players to go for every trophy available to end Arsenal's five-year trophy drought.
This in the wake of Arsenal’s 4-0 win over Newcastle United in the Carling Cup.
And amidst the optimism Wenger has confirmed defender Kieran Gibbs will be out of action for several weeks with a medial knee ligament strain.
Elsewhere Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder has committed his future to the Italian club.
Sneijder has ended speculation on his move to Manchester United by signing a new contract until 2015.

Golf and American Ricky Barnes took the first round lead with an eight-under-par 63 in the inaugural CIMB Asia Pacific Classic in Malaysia yesterday.
Countryman Ryan Moore shot a flawless 64 in ideal scoring conditions to lie one back while Korea's Charlie Wi, a seven-time Asian Tour winner and a regular now on the PGA Tour, shared third place with England's Brian Davis and Sweden's Carl Pettersson with identical 65s.

Finally in Basketball – the Singapore Slingers are in action this weekend at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
The Slingers will take on the Thailand Slammers in their third home tie in the ASEAN Basketball League.
And after 4-Rounds – Singapore lie in third-place with a 2-an-2 record at 4-points, whilst the Thais are currently in second with 6-points.
