SPORTS 101130

We start with Football and in last night’s El Clasico – Barcelona thrashed overnight leaders Real Madrid 5-0 in front of their home fans at the Nou Camp.

David Villa netted a brace in a game that saw the Catalans dictate most of the 90 and inflict Madrid’s first defeat of the season.

The win also ensures Barca leap-frog Madrid into top spot with 2-points ahead.

Off the pitch and Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson is unhappy that his side have drawn Premier League leaders Manchester United for the third-round of the FA Cup.

Hodgson said it will be an excellent game of football but it's a bit unfortunate that two Premier League teams of the quality of Manchester United and Liverpool get drawn together at that stage of the competition.

The mouth-watering tie between United and Liverpool will take place on the weekend of the 8th and 9th January at Old Trafford.

Finally in Golf – New European Tour number one Martin Kaymer has revealed what is next on his wish list.

For all that he has achieved already - a major in America, a Ryder Cup cap, a win at St Andrews and now the "Race to Dubai" title - the 25-year-old wants something many club golfers already have.

A hole-in-one.

Kaymer has already held off the challenge of US Open champion and Ryder Cup team-mate Graeme McDowell to become the leading money-winner this season with £3.8million.
