It’s Football all the way and we start with Champions League and in the first-leg Round of 16 ties – Manchester United were held to a goalless draw by Maseille of France at the Stade Veladrom.

And elsewhere – holders Inter Milan were handed a 1-0 defeat by Bayern Munich at the San Siro with Mario Gomez scoring for the Germans in the last minute of play.

Inter now face an uphill task to overturn the tie in Munich on the 15th of March.

And staying with the S-League – Courts Singapore announced yesterday that they have agreed to a partnership with The New York Cosmos for its first visit to Asia since the club’s recent rebirth.

Football legends Pelé and Eric Cantona will be accompanying the club’s executives throughout the tour, which include Singapore and Hong Kong.

This sponsorship further reinforces Courts commitment to the S-League club sponsorship of the Courts Young Lions.

And to officially announce this partnership and to launch the Courts Young Lions Fan Club, Courts will host a “football fiesta” fan event and press conference on Thursday 3rd March at the Jalan Besar Stadium, with Pelé and Cantona in attendance.
